Rheumatology rehabilitation is a comprehensive approach to the treatment and restoration of the functionality of the musculoskeletal system and related systems in patients suffering from rheumatic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, ankylosing spondylitis, etc.

This process includes drug treatment to reduce symptoms and inflammation, as well as physical therapy procedures to improve the functional state of the joints and muscles. Rheumatology rehabilitation also includes orthopedic methods, such as the use of orthoses and other assistive devices to improve mobility and reduce pain.

The appropriateness and selected methods of rehabilitation are individualized according to the characteristics of a particular disease and the needs of the patient. The goal of rheumatological rehabilitation is to improve the quality of life of patients, to enable them to return to daily activities and to reduce the risk of complications associated with rheumatic diseases.
